Okay If you’re like me, you hardly have time to really fix yourself some food at times. (And if your a mom), which means sometimes you lack in milk for your baby when you don’t eat! Energy bites are the best thing for when you need some quick protein and healthy snack to boost your energy and also milk supply! You also don’t have to have children to eat these! They are amazing for all you working out babes who need more energy! This is my personal tweaked recipe that is sooooo good and works amazing!
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup flax seeds
1/2 cup hempseeds
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut
4 cups oats
2 cups peanut butter or almond butter
1 1/3 cup real maple syrup or organic honey
2 tsp vanilla
1 or 1 1/2 bag of chocolate chips
Mix all of the ingredients in a mixer and roll into balls and store in the fridge! Then pop in your mouth at your desire!!
Like I said, this recipe is doubled which I honestly prefer. But the chia seeds, hemp seeds and unsweetened coconut is one of the most important parts of the recipe to make it really healthy if you don’t use natural ingredients. The peanut butter will help with energy while the oats help with lactation! I actually like to do half real maple syrup and half natural honey! Mixes it up a little and give such a delicious taste!
